Once the oven was hot, I placed my baking sheet into the oven for just about 2 minutes. If you\u2019re going to want to string your photo up in any way, be sure to punch your hole prior to shrinking your paper.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"toc-1\">Other Fun Shrinky Dink Gifts<\/h3>\n<p>You can also use acrylic paint pens or colored pencils. You want to be able to watch the pieces bake as they will curl, and then uncurl when they are done baking. You don\u2019t have to use an ink jet printer\u2014you can simply draw on it with felt-tip pens or colored pencils. Permanent Markers (I did a test on some shrinky dinks and dry-erase markers work pretty well, but regular markers don\u2019t work as well) 3. I happened to fall upon DIY shrinky dinks on social media, and well, now I\u2019m hooked. Then send your curated collection to your children, or put together your own custom lesson plan.<\/p>\n<p>Also, we had a lot of Shrinky Dink designs to create so we did them in batches. The next step is to carefully cut out your design.
